£30,000 - £37,500 - plus travel allowances and expenses covered, 25 days holiday + bank increasing with service, death in service benefit of 4x salary, salary sacrifice pension scheme and share incentive plan.

You will be joining a leading manufacturer of niche instrumentation for specialist applications as Test, Installation and Maintenance Engineer and be part of their close-knit team, based from their head office in East Grinstead, West Sussex. You will be expected to travel internationally 25-50% of the time and duties will include:
- Final test of instruments post-production including both electrical and mechanical inspection
- Checking the overall performance of the instruments and software
- Performing on-site installation, training and customer demonstrations on delivered instruments
- On-site and back to base maintenance
- Emergency service
- Hardware and software upgrades
- Providing both telephone and email technical support to customers
You will be qualified to HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have at least 2 years commercial experience of working within electrical engineering which has been within some form of test, inspection, assembly, maintenance or service engineering or on-site support capacity. You should be able to demonstrate a good all-round understanding of electrical / electronic systems as well as installing, fault-finding and repairing equipment.
Candidates who can demonstrate previous experience of calibrating, testing and servicing laboratory equipment, instruments or complex machinery would be beneficial, though not essential. All candidates will receive 3-6 months product training, must possess a full UK driving licence as well as a current passport and be willing to travel when overseas required.
