Service Engineer (Workshop) – Commercial Fleet Solutions – Haydock – £35,000 – £37,000 + overtime = £45k – £50k ++ 22 days holiday + bank + Workwear + PPE * Is maintaining, servicing and repairing heavy plant your bread and butter? * Do you have experience of working on cranes, powered access, forklift trucks or heavy plant and would like a fresh challenge? * Do you have a good understanding of hydraulics, mechanics and general fault finding * Are you looking to join a business with an enviable reputation spanning 30+ years? As Workshop Engineer, you will be based in the Haydock depot and be responsible for performing routine service, preventative maintenance, breakdown repair and LOLER inspections on lorry loader cranes. You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Engineering, be able to demonstrate previous experience of working on heavy vehicle plant, machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, cranes, powered access or similar equipment as well as have a good all-round understanding of hydraulics, mechanics and basic fault finding on 24-volt electrical systems. All candidates must hold a full UK driving licence.
