A nationwide service provider to the vehicle fleet industry with an enviable reputation spanning 50 years is now looking for a Service Controller to join their Head Office Depot on the outskirts of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

As Service Controller you will be part of the service administration team taking pre-planned maintenance bookings from customers and planning and scheduling these; speaking to customers to arrange follow up visits and booking them in; interacting with Service Engineers and processing Engineer job sheets / work reports; changing the job status on internal system and ensuring all inputted data is always correct and taking ownership in service improvement initiatives and cost control.

This position would suit someone who is commercially astute and has a track record of working as a Service Controller, Service Co-ordinator, Service Administration or similar capacity ideally within an engineering or technical based business and now looking to progress their career within service operations.

You will also demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail; be able to interface with people at all levels and be IT proficient including the use of Office 365 including Word and Excel.

Working hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with a 1 hour lunchbreak. You will be working for a business who truly care for, nurture and develop their people with proof of family members across 3 generations working for the business.
