A family-run, people-centric business is looking for a Field Service Engineer in Essex, offering a salary of £30,000 - £33,000 basic, with potential earnings of £35k - £40k OTE. The role includes a company van, mobile phone, laptop, fuel card, workwear, PPE, pension, death in service (3 x salary), 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

We are seeking a time-served Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Vehicle or Plant Mechanics who has a track record of repairing, servicing, and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment. After an initial training period, you will be responsible for the reactive maintenance, service, and breakdown repair of fuel pumping and dispensing equipment throughout Essex and the local surrounding region, working to strict SLAs and being on-call 1 in 3 weekends.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to NVQ level 3 or above in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle or Plant Mechanics, and must demonstrate a proven track record in field service or multi-skilled maintenance, working on electro-mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, switches, instrumentation, and controls, as well as possessing strong fault-finding skills.
