After an initial period of on-the-job training as Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair to customers' vehicle fleets throughout Yorkshire and the local surrounding region and be part of the on-call rota during the week and weekends.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or a related subject; be comfortable using mechanical hand tools and ideally have some experience of servicing, repairing or maintaining mechanical equipment, machinery, vehicles or plant. A basic understanding of hydraulics and fault finding on 12 & 24-volt electrics is an advantage.
