Field Service Engineer – Nationwide Service Provider – Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 + door to door + on-call + overtime = £40k - £50k + Company Van + Tools + Workwear + Training

As Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair to customers vehicle fleets throughout Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, parts of Leicestershire and Oxfordshire and be part of the on-call rota during the week and weekends.
You will be qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar; be comfortable using mechanical hand tools; able to demonstrate experience of working on the service, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment as well as a basic understanding of hydraulics and fault finding on 12 & 24-volt electrics.
Previous experience of working on such as heavy vehicle plant / machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, compactors, bailers, road sweepers, telehandlers or similar equipment would be beneficial, though not essential.
