Field Service Engineer

A family-run, people-centric business is looking for a Field Service Engineer. The role offers a basic salary of £30,000 - £34,000, with potential earnings of £35k - £44k OTE, along with benefits including a company van, mobile, laptop, fuel card, workwear, PPE, pension, death in service (3 x salary), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

We are seeking candidates who are qualified in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Vehicle Mechanics and have experience as a Field Service Engineer, particularly in working with electro-mechanical equipment within a niche industry sector.

The successful candidate will join a business established for over 60 years, known for supporting thousands of sites on a contractual basis. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for additional Field Service Engineers to become part of our long-established field service team throughout the UK.

After an initial training period, you will be based from home and responsible for:

• Preventative maintenance inspections
• Reactive maintenance, service, and breakdown repair of fuel pumping and dispensing equipment throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, and the local region

You will work to strict SLAs and be on-call 1 in 3 weekends. Candidates should have a proven track record in field service, workshop, or multi-skilled maintenance engineering, with experience in the reactive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment. Experience with motors, belts, switches, pumps, hydraulics, and basic electrical fault finding using handheld test equipment is desirable.
