Responsibilities:
- Act as a Senior Authorised Person for HV networks up to 132kV, ensuring the safe operation, isolation, and restoration of electrical systems.
- Prepare, issue, and cancel Safety Documents (Permits to Work, Sanction for Test, Limitation of Access) in line with company safety rules and statutory requirements.
- Lead switching operations, both planned and emergency, to maintain network integrity and ensure the safe coordination of works.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight to operational staff, contractors, and third-party interfaces engaged on HV and EHV systems.
- Carry out network risk assessments, switching schedules, and method statements to ensure safe system planning and compliance.
