We are looking for a Senior Project Planner to work in the Transmission and Distribution sector on a substation project. This is an urgent requirement with the start date being January on a 12 month rolling term.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate planning and programme management from tender stage through to delivery.
- Develop and maintain detailed, logic-linked construction programmes.
- Provide expert guidance on construction sequencing, methodologies, and resource planning.
- Ensure all activities comply with contractual obligations and project requirements.
- Implement and manage Project Controls, delivering accurate forecasting and clear reporting.
- Mentor and support planning team members while promoting continuous process improvement.
- Promote strong collaboration among design, engineering, and delivery teams to meet key milestones.
Qualifications
- HV experience (400kV)
- Strong technical understanding of substation planning
- Experience across the full project lifecycle
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (ASTA and 4D modelling advantageous)
- Proven planning experience in the energy sector
