We’re currently supporting a major programme of 400kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) projects, and we’re looking to expand our network with multiple engineers at various levels to support ongoing and upcoming design activities.
The Role
These roles will be focused on the design and delivery of 400kV transmission lines, and will play a critical role in supporting high-voltage infrastructure across the UK. You’ll be working within collaborative project teams on:
- PLS-CADD-based line design
- Line routing and structure spotting
- Sag-tension calculations and clearance analysis
- Insulator and conductor selection
- Engineering documentation and stakeholder support
- Feasibility studies and compliance checks
Requirements
We’re keen to hear from engineers with experience across the following areas:
- Background in Electrical or Power Engineering (degree or equivalent)
- Experience in OHL design up to or including 400kV
- Familiarity with PLS-CADD, and ideally PLS-POLE/TOWER
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a design team
- Willingness to travel if required for project delivery
