CMC are expanding our Transmission and Distribution team, and are looking to engage a Project Manager (overhead line) on a 12 month contract basis, for a scheme in the Norwich area.
Translate initial functional requirements for EHV (33kV to 400kV) projects into compliant, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Lead the end-to-end project management of cable projects (33kV to 400kV), ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required safety and quality standards.
Liaise with clients and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to successfully develop and deliver cable projects.
Fulfil CDM duties by acting as the Designer and/or Principal Designer in accordance with CDM regulations for cable projects.
Maintain clear and effective communication with internal engineering and operational teams.
Manage and coordinate external service providers, including oversight of commercial administration.
Conduct site visits to assess project needs, engage with contractors and project teams, monitor progress, perform safety audits, and resolve engineering issues as required.
