We're looking for an experienced CDAE - Protection & Control to provide design approval and technical assurance on a major UK transmission programme. This is an approval role, not hands-on design.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as CDAE for P&C designs
- Approve protection philosophies, relay schemes, intertripping, and SCADA interfaces
- Support FAT/SAT and energisation
- Interface with designers, contractors, and site teams
- Proven CDAE / delegated approval experience (P&C)
- Strong HV/EHV substation background
- Experience at 132kV–400kV
- Ability to attend site in Newcastle 3 days per week
- SR180 authorisation
- Live substation experience
- HVDC exposure
