Coalesce Management Consulting are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong experience in SAP to join a project with a leading Aerospace company. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving manufacturing process improvements, managing engineering changes, and utilising SAP to optimise production efficiency and data accuracy.

Onsite (Kilmarnock) – Inside IR35 – 3 Month Initial Contract (Potential to Extend)

Key Responsibilities:

Support and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
Implement and manage engineering changes across production, ensuring alignment with quality and regulatory standards.
Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing data within SAP.
Analyse production and operational data from SAP to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate closely with production, quality, and design engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Support new product introduction (NPI) processes and ensure smooth transition into manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry regulations, and aerospace quality standards.

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer within an aerospace or complex manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (BOM management, data analysis, process updates).
Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, tooling, and quality standards.
Experience in engineering change management and configuration control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable process improvements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Aircraft manufacturing experience (fuselage, wings, or other major structures).
Proficiency in CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
Experience working within an aerospace manufacturing organisation.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
