Join our latest project Currently we’re looking for a number of Project Engineers for an Aerospace client based in Wimborne.

This role will be an initial 6 month assignment that falls inside of IR35 with engineers expected to be on site 3 days a week.

As a Senior Project Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge solutions across the full product lifecycle. Leveraging your expertise in mechanical and/or systems engineering to drive excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
Planning and coordinating engineering activities, including the creation of Engineering Management Plans to achieve project goals.
Translating customer and stakeholder requirements into actionable insights to define, analyse, and deliver comprehensive project solutions.
Managing engineering changes to maintain system integrity throughout the lifecycle, ensuring traceability of key design decisions.
Supporting all aspects of the product lifecycle to deliver fully integrated and high-quality solutions.
Scheduling and planning engineering design gate reviews while collaborating with other functions, such as airworthiness and safety, to meet project milestones.
Proactively managing technical risks and opportunities to ensure successful project delivery and system performance.
Collaborating with engineering leadership and program management teams to ensure adequate resourcing and address potential capability gaps.
Championing continuous improvement initiatives and applying effective systems engineering management practices.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical, electro-mechanical, fluid, mechanisms, structures, or systems product development.

Proven experience in the development and management of engineering products across their lifecycle.
An appreciation for Systems Engineering Management principles and practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage and sign off on critical engineering documents.
