CMC are supporting an Aerospace client and are looking for an EMC and lightning Engineer to support a critical delivery phase. You will then support on multiple projects therefore will be suited to an engineer who is comfortable operating autonomously and making technical discussions in a busy programme environment.
What you’ll do:
- Own EMC, lightning, and HIRF activities across the programme
- Develop EMC / Lightning Control Plans and QTPs
- Support lightning and HIRF qualification and test campaigns
- Provide senior, rapid-response support for emergent EMC issues
- Work closely with systems, electrical, and integration teams
What we’re looking for:
- Strong EMC background in aerospace or other regulated environments
- Proven experience with lightning indirect effects and HIRF
- Knowledge of DO-160, ARP5412/5414, and related standards
- Comfortable operating autonomously in high-pressure programmes
