CMC are supporting an Aerospace client and are looking for an EMC and lightning Engineer to support a critical delivery phase. You will then support on multiple projects therefore will be suited to an engineer who is comfortable operating autonomously and making technical discussions in a busy programme environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Own EMC, lightning, and HIRF activities across the programme
  • Develop EMC / Lightning Control Plans and QTPs
  • Support lightning and HIRF qualification and test campaigns
  • Provide senior, rapid-response support for emergent EMC issues
  • Work closely with systems, electrical, and integration teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong EMC background in aerospace or other regulated environments
  • Proven experience with lightning indirect effects and HIRF
  • Knowledge of DO-160, ARP5412/5414, and related standards
  • Comfortable operating autonomously in high-pressure programmes
