We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a background in high-voltage substation projects to support the tender phase of a new 400kV AIS substation on a greenfield site in Lincolnshire. This is a full-time contract opportunity with hybrid working options. Office attendance will be required for core collaboration days.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide electrical technical leadership during the tender preparation of an 18-bay AIS substation
- Work closely with estimators, planners, civil engineers, and proposal writers as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Manage interfaces between OEMs, designers, and supply chain partners to develop coordinated delivery solutions
- Identify key project risks and contribute to mitigation planning
- Define installation and commissioning methodologies aligned with industry standards
- Demonstrable experience managing substation projects at 400kV, including AIS systems
- Strong knowledge of HV electrical systems and grid infrastructure
- Familiarity with tendering processes for major utility or infrastructure contracts
- Ability to lead technical discussions and coordinate with diverse stakeholders
Engagement Details:
- Outside IR35
- Full-time (40 hours/week, flexible arrangements considered)
