We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a background in high-voltage substation projects to support the tender phase of a new 400kV AIS substation on a greenfield site in Lincolnshire. This is a full-time contract opportunity with hybrid working options. Office attendance will be required for core collaboration days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical technical leadership during the tender preparation of an 18-bay AIS substation
  • Work closely with estimators, planners, civil engineers, and proposal writers as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Manage interfaces between OEMs, designers, and supply chain partners to develop coordinated delivery solutions
  • Identify key project risks and contribute to mitigation planning
  • Define installation and commissioning methodologies aligned with industry standards
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience managing substation projects at 400kV, including AIS systems
  • Strong knowledge of HV electrical systems and grid infrastructure
  • Familiarity with tendering processes for major utility or infrastructure contracts
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and coordinate with diverse stakeholders

Engagement Details:

  • Outside IR35
  • Full-time (40 hours/week, flexible arrangements considered)
  • All necessary ICT equipment will be provided
