Provide expert-level support across Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR, analysing ECU behaviour, resolving integration defects, and stabilising software performance across ADAS, autonomous driving, infotainment and electrification domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse AUTOSAR architecture, configuration, RTE behaviour and software module interactions
- Investigate ECU-level issues including crashes, misbehaviour, timing faults, communication failures and integration defects
- Perform deep root cause analysis across C/C++ codebases, communication stacks, OS layers and service frameworks
- Debug issues using CANoe, CANalyser, trace logs, memory dumps, network captures and diagnostic tools
- Reproduce issues on rigs, benches or vehicles; support triage and escalation
- Work closely with OEM developers, architects and systems engineers to resolve cross-domain issues
- Validate fixes, confirm stability and support release readiness
- Contribute to integration strategy, configuration reviews and system-level troubleshooting
Essential Technical Skills
- Classic AUTOSAR (BSW, MCAL, RTE, configuration, integration)
- Adaptive AUTOSAR (services, SOME/IP, DDS, POSIX, execution management)
- C++, Embedded C
- CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, SOME/IP, diagnostic protocols
- Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyser, v Flash, CAPL scripting
- Strong debugging, fault isolation and integration problem-solving
- Experience in ADAS, autonomous driving, domain controllers or high-performance ECUs
Experience Level
- Typically 8β15 years in automotive embedded systems
- Minimum 5+ years AUTOSAR integration
- Senior consultant / principal engineer profile preferred
