The Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store's overall success and efficiency; demanding direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing our customers. Leaving a lasting impression on our customers through friendly, efficient interactions at our cash wrap and a well-maintained sales floor. Accurate and effective work, supporting the flow of product from the moment of receipt through the point of sale is essential to this role.
Responsibilities
- Cash Wrap: Greet the customer with a smile and eye contact, offer your name; interact genuinely and naturally; read cues and determine customer needs; conduct email/name capture where permitted by law; maintain accuracy when operating POS; keep cash wrap organized and clean; suggest add-ons and sell gift cards; maintain cash and POS media accuracy in compliance with policy; thank customers and provide a reason to return; represent Coach brand appropriately.
- Stockroom / Warehouse: Receive shipments and transfers; notify Store Management when new product arrives; scan cartons/transfers and verify store information; communicate discrepancies; process shipments/transfers per Coach standards and timeframes; organize and clean stock room daily (including offsite/remote warehouses as applicable); shift/organize product based on sell-through; manage stock levels back-of-house and on the sales floor; perform regular cycle counts and participate in store inventories; maintain Loss Prevention standards.
- Sales Floor: Regularly analyze the sales floor for replenishment needs; replenish assigned zones; respond to sell-through and execute visual merchandising; support floor activities as directed; communicate price points, features/benefits, color and stock availability to customers; respond to customer requests and collaborate with the sales team or Store Management; maintain housekeeping standards.

- Experience: 1-3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in a luxury retail environment; knowledge of fashion trends and competition.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems; basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet); use of walkie talkies; ability to read price and product release sheets.
- Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively with customers and team; maneuver on the sales floor, stock room; ability to climb, bend, kneel; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for shipments/transfers.
- Schedule: Ability to meet scheduling expectations, including flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic.
