The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Your working week will be Monday to Sunday on a mixed shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off, and 3 days on, 3 days off, working to a 14‑week rolling rota which includes days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with general and emergency telephone enquiries on behalf of numerous council services outside normal office hours, including emergency housing repairs and night‑time noise complaints.
- Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and associated equipment on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner, adapting your approach to ensure equality of access for all customers, many of whom are vulnerable or have complex circumstances.
- Access various computer systems to retrieve and input information, demonstrating accurate keyboard skills, effective communication and an understanding of confidentiality issues relating to customer information.
Qualifications & Skills
- Accurate keyboard skills and the ability to talk and type effectively.
- Experience or ability to work sensitively with vulnerable individuals.
- Successful completion of an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Obtaining a Public Space Surveillance CCTV Operators Licence issued by the Security Industry Authority.
