Hard FM Procurement Manager
We offer an exciting opportunity for a Hard FM Procurement Manager to join our team, responsible for developing and executing category strategies across Property FM, Corporate Services, and other related categories over the next 6‑12 months.
The role focuses on delivering optimum value, cost savings, and risk mitigation while ensuring quality and exceptional customer service throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine sourcing strategies for each category, including business intelligence and spend analytics.
- Lead full tender processes, including bid evaluation, shortlisting, negotiation, and contract drafting.
- Mobilise and implement new agreements, supporting budget holders and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Measure and manage supplier performance, continuously identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and increase efficiency.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leaders and budget holders on procurement activities and outcomes.
- Lead Cost Transformation Programme initiatives within assigned categories.
- Maintain strong cross‑functional relationships, secure stakeholder engagement, and sponsor initiatives that deliver outstanding procurement, contract, and supplier management services.
- Required Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive and proven category management experience in property services categories within construction, FM, or real estate environments.
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of relevant categories, including building management systems and M&E services.
- Knowledge of construction industry contracting mechanisms, including Framework Agreements, JCT, and NEC contracts.
- Extensive knowledge of the UK supply market for relevant categories.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering significant savings in complex, multi‑stakeholder or matrix environments.
- Ability to formulate, negotiate, and draft complex service contracts, including detailed Service Level Agreements.
- In‑depth knowledge of procurement methodologies, tendering processes, and contract management principles.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with the ability to balance detail with the bigger picture.
- Excellent project management and communication skills to lead diverse stakeholders through procurement exercises and tender processes.

The position is based in our award‑winning London office for three days a week, with the flexibility of hybrid working.
The office is conveniently located near Cannon Street, London Bridge, and Monument stations.
