Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Strategy: Support the Finance Business Partner in the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, financial and ad‑hoc analysis in collaboration with plant and commercial teams.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regional requirements.
  • Cost Management and Optimization: Conduct in‑depth cost analysis to identify areas to optimize costs, reduce expenses and improve efficiencies.
  • Profitability Analysis: Perform detailed analysis to identify improvement opportunities up to operating income levels.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes.
  • Standard Costing: Establish and update standard costs for materials, labour and overhead as required.
  • Automation and Standardization: Support standardization projects, providing insights into process efficiencies and acting as a contact point for ad‑hoc requests.
  • Collaboration: Provide support and guidance to operations and commercial teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, development and high performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar or related role.
  • Excellent financial skills with the ability to detect trends from financial statements and provide insights for decision‑making.
  • Fluency in English essential; proficiency in Dutch or Spanish valuable depending on location.
