Responsibilities
- Profiling a range of food products against key criteria such as appearance, aroma, flavour, and texture.
- Develop own knowledge of testing criteria and be able to confidently score products against them.
- Collaboratively participate in panel discussions, describing product attributes accurately and confidently.
- Responsible for submitting accurate product scoring data into ballots in either paper or electronic formats.
- Attend and participate in training sessions on product area and projects, ensuring continued understanding of product attributes and scale references is maintained.
Training and Screening
This role is subject to the successful completion of a fully sensory screening which will form part of the interview process. Please be aware that you will be required to sample a wide range of products that may not be appropriate for all dietary requirements.
Education and Training
- No previous experience needed.
- Basic IT skills.
- Good standard of written and spoken English.
Hours
Hours of work are 9.30am to 12.30pm Tuesday to Thursday, 48 weeks per year.
