Facilities Management Assistant to join the Kings Cross/Euston team at UPP. Hourly rate: £14.84.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the reception desk and a computerized system for real‑time helpdesk monitoring of reactive and planned maintenance work.
  • Provide an excellent reception service to residents and office staff; keep records of all visitors and contractors and issue keys when required.
  • Assist the manager(s) in coordinating on‑site activities, day‑to‑day administration and completing regular reports.
  • Conduct walking inspections of the residence and grounds, reporting any security or safety issues to the manager.
  • Monitor student conduct, encourage reasonable behaviour and report breaches of the Code of Conduct and licence agreement.
  • Manage out‑of‑hours access to the residence, ensuring compliance with fire, health & safety procedures and residence instructions.
  • Liaise with UPP staff, university clients, sub‑contractors, residents and conference delegates as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar reception or facilities role.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and a team‑working attitude.
  • Will be subject to satisfactory vetting, including DBS checks.
