We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join our team.

- Position: Cleaner (permanent / part‑time)
- Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30 – 14:30
- Salary: £16,930.65 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Clean designated areas of student accommodation, including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens, and white goods.
- Vacuum, spot‑clean, shampoo carpets, and sweep & polish floors.
- Wash walls, doors, furniture, radiators and lampshades as appropriate.
- Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to bin store areas.
- During the summer season only: make beds (including stripping and changing sheeting), collect laundered linen from store, bag and pack laundry, clean internal and external windows, clean and wash glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils.
- Maintain daily liaison with residents, Residence Managers and UPP staff.
- Act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices at all times.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience cleaning in a similar environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with an attention to detail.
- Good conversational standard of English and ability to read & interpret Health & Safety guidance.
- Prepared to work at other sites and additional hours (especially during main student arrival and departure weekends).
- Suitable for vetting, including employment referencing (past three years) and may be subject to DBS checks.
