Job Summary
As part of CDW UK’s Sales Support, you will manage the end-to-end sales order process while delivering an excellent experience for internal and external customers. Working with stakeholders across the business, vendors, suppliers, and clients, you’ll build strong relationships and help drive service excellence. The role also involves supporting process improvements and contributing to initiatives that enhance how we operate.
Responsibilities
- Be the initial point of contact for co-workers in the Sales Support Team, reviewing queries promptly and efficiently, and proactively addressing future needs.
- Oversee, manage and approve team absences to keep schedules aligned and service levels intact.
- Arrange and manage team meetings, 121s, and performance development plan (PDP) reviews.
- Provide feedback and support to help the team achieve goals.
- Address and manage escalations, resolving them in a timely manner to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Provide comprehensive training to new starters to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles.
- Participate in interviews and review co-worker performance professionally.
- Analyze and review data to inform decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Sales Support role, including key responsibilities and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; strong interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity and a desire to understand the “Why.”
- Experience building relationships across internal business units.
- Detailed knowledge of CRM systems, ERP solutions, and reporting tools.
- Exceptional organization and time-management abilities; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ambitious, credible, motivated, and accountable, with a knack for building lasting relationships and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to lead multiple initiatives, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong communication skills for presenting concepts to customers and senior leaders in various formats.
- Willingness to travel occasionally between CDW UK offices as required.
- Eager to engage in personal development and soft-skill growth.
