The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.

The role is responsible for the day‑to‑day support and maintenance of customer accounts held by the Account Director. This includes handling customer engagements as defined by the Account Director in order to maximise sales capacity and customer satisfaction. Within the role, you will liaise with various stakeholders, including internal CDW departments, vendors & suppliers, as well as directly with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Quotations on both standard and non‑standard products
  • Placing orders via our sales tools
  • Managing Outlook mailboxes, both co‑worker and customer specific
  • Dealing with initial customer queries or issues
  • Product returns
  • Product information, including manufacturer data sheets and specification checking
  • Reporting, including Back Order and ad‑hoc customer requirements
  • Changes to products and prices within ServiceTrack catalogues
  • Work with key vendors and partners as required to develop opportunities and relationships in existing clients
  • Liaise with internal departments, including Customer Services, Credit and Purchasing
  • Develop and maintain portfolio product knowledge as defined by the Account Director
  • Understand vendor promotions and special bid processes
  • Understand deal registration process
  • Assist with holiday cover and training of co‑workers

Qualifications

  • PC literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Web Browser) with fast & accurate keyboard skills, capable of creating and applying formulas
  • Understanding the importance of accurate reporting
  • Understanding of the IT industry sales channel
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Use of internal tools for account management and order processing (Microsoft Navision, CRM)
  • Experience working in a commercial environment preferred
  • Previous administration experience in a similar role preferred
  • Industry product and service knowledge preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, partners and internal co‑workers
  • Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to change and prioritise tasks constantly throughout the day, week, month
  • Drive and ambition
