Responsibilities

  • Lead portfolio management and performance oversight, assessing syndicate and class performance against approved business plans.
  • Provide high‑quality analysis, guidance and insight across product lines in partnership with CUOs and active underwriters.
  • Lead market‑wide initiatives and Lloyd’s strategies in response to evolving market conditions and challenges.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lloyd’s position in the global (re)insurance marketplace.
  • Well‑versed in the current insurance market environment.
  • Proven technical expertise and/or knowledge of underwriting and planning.
  • Experience in portfolio management and understanding of syndicate business plans.
  • Deep understanding of insurance P&L practices and drivers of performance.
  • Analytical ability to interpret complex statistical data and dashboards to inform decisions.
  • Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders regarding underwriting strategies and business plans.
  • Experienced in presenting at a senior level.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Lloyd’s Principles Based Oversight framework.
  • Evidence of being a role model within a team, setting examples for collaboration and positive contribution.
