Position Overview

The Supplier Oversight Manager is responsible for leading the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) operating model and ensuring resilient supplier relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve an organization‑wide SRM framework, adopting a tiered and proportionate approach.
  • Define governance and oversight for strategic, material, and critical suppliers with clear expectations for ownership, performance, and engagement.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to embed strong SRM practices, providing guidance, challenge, and support.
  • Strengthen supplier risk and resilience oversight in collaboration with Risk and Third‑Party Risk teams.
  • Define the approach to supplier performance and value, including KPIs, scorecards, and improvement plans.
  • Provide clear insight and assurance to Procurement leadership on supplier health, risks, and opportunities.
  • Act as a capability lead within Procurement, influencing without authority and building trust through expertise.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing strategic or critical suppliers in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Strong understanding of tiered and proportionate supplier relationship management.
  • Experience designing and embedding frameworks or centres of excellence across organisations.
  • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and challenging constructively when needed.
  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver results.
