What you'll be doing

You will work closely with the Internal Audit leadership team to deliver high‑quality, risk‑based audits across Lloyd's. Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver internal audits from scoping to reporting.
  • Assess key risks, processes and controls across a complex, global organization.
  • Present clear, balanced findings and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with business, risk and compliance teams.
  • Coordinate with external advisors and co‑source partners when specialist insight is needed.
  • Follow up on actions to ensure issues are resolved and improvements stick.

What you'll bring

We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Desired qualifications include:

  • Experience in internal or external audit delivering high‑quality audit work and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of audit standards, controls and risk frameworks.
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels and handling challenge well.
  • Ability to explain complex issues clearly and objectively.
  • Experience in insurance or reinsurance, or a strong interest in the sector.
  • A professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, CIA, ACII or equivalent) is preferred.
