Lead planning, forecasting, and performance insight across Lloyd’s Corporation. Own the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and medium‑term plans, ensuring they are robust, timely, and aligned with strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic priorities into financial plans that surface trade‑offs, risks and opportunities.
  • Lead performance reporting that explains what happened, why it matters and what comes next.
  • Challenge assumptions, cost drivers and delivery plans to help senior leaders spot issues early and take action fast.
  • Build trusted relationships across Finance and the wider business; act as the go‑to adviser on performance and priorities.
  • Prepare clear, concise material for the Executive Team and Lloyd’s Council.
  • Represent FP&A in cross‑functional and strategic discussions, ensuring financial implications are understood early.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end planning and reporting cycle—from month‑end to budget—raising standards and pace.
  • Modernise the approach using technology and automation to reduce time spent on producing numbers and add value.
  • Lead, coach and develop a small team of analysts, building capability and supporting high performance.
  • Act as a role model for the wider FP&A leadership.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience in FP&A, finance business partnering or performance management in a complex organization.
  • Track record of leading budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting that influences senior decision‑making.
  • Confidence to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
  • Experience managing costs, including workforce‑related spend.
  • Experience leading or developing others, with a focus on capability and accountability.
  • Ability to turn complex financial data into clear, commercial insight.
  • Strong judgement, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with tools like Anaplan or Workday is helpful but not essential.
