Manage the effective and efficient delivery of a high‑class financial processing service across the Corporation, Overseas and the wider Lloyd’s Market, and oversee Lloyd’s market settlement service for processing all premiums, claims and reinsurance transactions.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Deliver a high class financial processing service to the Lloyd’s Market, including all daily settlement processing, Worldlink processing, Shared Services and quarterly trust fund adjustments.
  • Provide financial processing services to the Corporation, Overseas and Member Services, ensuring processes are appropriate and effective.
  • Operate the Letter of Credit (LOC) Scheme process for the Lloyd’s Market and engage with external stakeholders to ensure transactions are processed per requests.
  • Support the Lloyd’s Market and Corporation with all financial processing issues.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to upgrade or implement new services as required.
  • Document and design processes and controls to operate effectively on a continuous basis.
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation of the audit report for the Lloyd’s Market settlement process.
  • Manage day‑to‑day activities of the team and review their work.
  • Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing across operations.
  • Define, plan and agree team targets and standards that support organisational objectives, including personal development plans and bi‑annual performance reviews.
  • Drive process improvement, system development and increased efficiencies.
  • Manage an effective business continuity plan for the Lloyd’s Market Settlement service and oversee settlement business continuity testing.
  • Authorize Bankline and Citibank payments in accordance with Council delegated authorities.
  • Provide support to other Finance Operations teams and deputise for the Head of Finance Operations as needed.
