In this role, you will discuss the benefits of our products and services with potential customers, helping them make informed legal planning decisions. Up-to-date experience and knowledge of key legal principles are required.

As a self-employed consultant, you will have the flexibility to manage your workload. Client appointments are primarily conducted via video calls (national) and home visits (local).

Responsibilities include:

  • Attend appointments generated by the company
  • Generate referrals and self-source at least 50% of new business
  • Discuss estate planning and legal services products including Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and probate services
  • Work with Co-op Legal Services, an SRA-regulated business, to draft legal documents
  • Deliver talks and seminars to community groups on legal products and services
  • Work closely with clients to identify needs and take accurate instructions
  • Use our Estate Planning Assistant software to record customer instructions

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven estate planning or will writing experience, trained to IPW or SWW standards, or legal qualification through CILEX
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathetic nature, and ability to identify customer needs
  • Ability to communicate complex legal information clearly
  • Confidence in presentations and engaging audiences
  • Negotiation and influencing skills, enthusiasm for our products
  • IT literacy with Microsoft Office and adaptability to custom software
  • A full UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle
