We\\\’re looking for Media Centre Manager to join Co-op Wholesale as part of the Customer Experience team. Since 1977, we\\\’ve championed independent retailers to thrive with Nisa – and now, we\\\’re entering a bold new chapter as Co-op Wholesale. We\\\’ve set up a brand-new Customer Experience team to make a real difference for our varied wholesale customer base, including retailers, corporate partners and national accounts. This team is all about bringing focus, speed, and creating new ways of working. Getting the right messages to the right people and making sure our customers feel understood. You\\\’ll strategically manage and optimise supplier advertising spend across Co-op Wholesale\\\’s customer channels. This role provides a big opportunity to establish and review the Media Centre strategy, it\\\’s up to you to make sure media investments optimise supplier funding and deliver maximum impact for Co-op Wholesale and our customers.
What you\\\’ll do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media strategy, optimising supplier-funded ad spend across digital, print, events, and other channels
- Manage and negotiate advertising spend with supplier partners
- Lead a team who will plan, buy, and allocate media placements, integrating media activity into broader campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insightful reporting to partners and suppliers
- Work with internal teams to ensure media support for wider campaign objectives
- Ensure we are compliant with brand standards and best practices for media buying and promote continuous improvement
- A strong background in media planning/buying or media agency management
- Commercial acumen, with experience managing supplier-funded budgets
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage successful partner relationships
- A data-driven approach to campaign analysis and optimisation
- Annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
