You\’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of \’co‑operating to build more value for member‑owners every day\’.

With over 2,500 vehicles in our fleet, this role plays a big part in keeping our operations moving – making sure every vehicle is compliant, available, and ready to support our colleagues across the business. You\’ll be at the heart of our Fleet team, helping to keep things running smoothly, safely, and responsibly.

Why this role matters

Our fleet is more than just vehicles. It\’s a critical part of how we serve our communities and colleagues. As we make the transition to a more sustainable, electrified fleet, your work will help shape the future of how we move, deliver, and connect.

What you\’ll do

  • Support colleagues with complex fleet‑related queries via email and phone
  • Manage the company car process, allocating vehicles in line with our policy
  • Investigate complaints and resolve issues professionally
  • Carry out admin tasks for MOTs, services, insurance, and fuel cards
  • Collaborate with field colleagues and branches to keep operations running smoothly
  • Occasionally drive a range of vehicles to designated parking locations

What you\’ll bring

  • Strong customer service and administrative experience
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • A full UK driving licence and confidence driving different types of vehicles

Why Co‑op?

  • Annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • 30% discount on Co‑op products and 10% off other brands
  • Wagestream – early access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
  • Virtual healthcare including GP appointments, mental health support, nutrition and fitness advice
  • Training and support for your development and career progression

A place you\’ll belong

We\’re building diverse teams that reflect the communities we serve. We welcome applications from everyone, and our support centre is an inclusive environment where all our colleagues can thrive.

If you have a disability, we\’ll make reasonable adjustments to support you through the recruitment process. We\’re also proud to be part of the Disability Confident scheme – if you\’re disabled and you meet the minimum criteria for this job, we\’ll guarantee you an interview.
