Overview
As a Customer Team Member, you\βll be part of a friendly team that\βs dedicated to helping our customers. You\βll provide great service on the tills and the shop floor, and perform a range of tasks around the store such as re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.
What you\βll do
- Friendly and thoughtful service β you\βll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, and delivering a great shopping experience
- Work together to make everyone\βs day better β support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
- Make sure the store is safe and compliant β keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are as they should be
- Help introduce new products and services β make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together
- Support your local community β get involved in all kinds of activities and events
A genuine care for the needs of customers and members
- Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- A positive approach to change and problem solving
- The flexibility to work a range of different shifts
Pay: Β£12.60 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview
