The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: 14 - 18 The Oval Pin, Stevenage, SG1 5RB

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: 14 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: Sunday 7am to 2pm, Wednesday 6:15am to 1:15pm. Role will also include working in our in-store bakery.

Full, paid training provided.

You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve either working before 6am or after 10pm, or some other business-related needs.

As a Customer Team Member, you will be part of a friendly team that is dedicated to helping our customers. You will provide great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you will do:

  • Friendly and thoughtful service - you will put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, working in our in-store bakery and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone’s day better - supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal - keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be.
  • Help introduce new products and services - make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support your local community - get involved in all kinds of activities and events!
