The predicted salary is between 10 - 15 £ per hour.

Location: 4 New Road, Newcastle Emlyn, SA38 9BA

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part‑time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends – to be discussed at interview. Role will include working in our in‑store bakery.

Full, paid training provided.

You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve working before 6am or after 10pm, or other business‑related needs.

We are looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co‑op.

What you’ll do:

  • Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, working in our in‑store bakery and delivering a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone’s day better – support your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events.
