Location: 26-30 Fleming Crescent, Hertford, SG14 2DJ
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, 3 month temporary contract, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (5.30am opening), afternoons, late evenings (11pm closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview.
Role will include working in our in-store bakery. Full, paid training provided.
You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve either working before 6am or after 10pm, or some other business-related needs.

As a Customer Team Member, you will be part of a friendly team that is dedicated to helping our customers. You will provide great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.
What you will do:
- Friendly and thoughtful service - putting customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, working in our in-store bakery and delivering a great shopping experience.
- Work together to make everyone’s day better - supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
- Make sure the store is safe and legal - keeping the shelves stocked and ensuring prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be.
- Help introduce new products and services - making changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
- Support your local community - getting involved in all kinds of activities and events!
