Location: 41 Market Street, Ulverston, LA12 7LS

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract: 18 hours per week + regular overtime, Permanent contract, Part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

We are looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. When you join Co-op, you will get amazing benefits including:

As a Customer Team Member, you will be part of a friendly team that is dedicated to helping our customers. You will provide great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

Responsibilities:

  • Friendly and thoughtful service - putting customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, and delivering a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone’s day better - supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal - keep the shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be.
  • Help introduce new products and services - make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support your local community - get involved in all kinds of activities and events.
