Year Manager (Non-Teaching) in Swinton

With a passion for supporting students combined with strong behaviour management skills, you can guide our students and help them achieve the best possible outcome. Our aim is to ensure that our students are given every opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their background.

The Year Manager will respond to behaviour issues across the school, acting as a trusted adult and a positive role model, whilst providing consistent boundaries. They will work alongside the pastoral and teaching teams to help create a positive learning environment that is supportive and nurturing.

As well as academic success, we focus on and take great pride in our students' behaviour. We aim for high achievement in an environment which is based on rewards, not sanctions. This is an exciting opportunity for a Year Manager to help and support our students through their secondary school journey.

At Co-op Academy Swinton, our academy provides a place for pupils aged 11-16. We are easily commutable from all areas of the North West with Swinton train station less than a 5 minute walk. We have a dedicated team of staff who build and share positive relationships and a caring culture with our wonderful students. This was highlighted in our recent Ofsted inspection (June 2024), where we were graded ‘Good’ in all areas.
