What Are We Looking For
Owing to our continued success, CO-AT Marine is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join us on a permanent basis at our office in Paisley. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects within the marine and offshore industry.
As part of this opportunity, you will be at the forefront of our project delivery, both locally and with some international opportunity. We are a driven, dynamic organisation and as such, you will play a key role in delivering projects as the primary focal point for clients, engineering teams and our other stakeholders. This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced engineer whom is ready to take on a senior engineering role towards project and commercial management, supported by an experienced team, in an industry that continues to evolve.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
Project liaison from enquiry stage to final acceptance and documentation, meeting with Clients as required to discuss specific requirements and carry out site surveys as required. Early Identification and resolution of non-conformance within both the design and construction phase. Interpret and check drawings, specifications and schedules for all activities, directing works accordingly & prepare final documentation. Ensure all technical information is available when required for the delivery of design and/or construction. Management of Project Quality deliverables and procedures ensuring compliance with Internal and Client Quality Systems. Input to Tender, design and construction programmes including progress updates and reporting. Commercial Management of Projects including budget setting, monthly forecasting and Profit / Loss responsibility. Management of all health, safety and environmental issues. Preparation of estimates and quotations. Subcontractor engagement, liaison, tender specification, quotation and H&S documentation review and appraisal. Completion of contract documents. Production of risk assessments and method statements.
What Do You Need?
Qualification to degree / HND/ HNC in Engineering or equivalent. Experience working within a HVAC and Ventilation environment. Proven track record in an Industrial Engineering industry. Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day to day workloads within a busy environment. Good communication skills in both verbal and written communication and ability to follow, interpret and explain technical instructions. Commercial awareness and understanding of P&L accountability. Full UK Driving Licence.
