We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and experienced Team Leader to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover contract supporting adults with learning disabilities within our residential care home.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality person-centred care and leading a team to provide outstanding support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care and support.
- Ensure service users receive person-centred care tailored to their individual needs.
- Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management.
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for both residents and staff.
- Participate in the management on-call rota, providing guidance and support to staff outside of normal working hours when required.
- Working Pattern
- The successful candidate will work a three-week rolling rota , including weekdays, weekends, and shifts as required by the needs of the service.
- The role includes participation in an on-call rota , requiring the post holder to be available to respond to emergencies, staffing issues, and operational matters outside of normal working hours.

- Candidate Must Have
- Previous experience working within adult social care, preferably supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Previous experience in a senior care or leadership role.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or currently working towards achieving this qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
