CNX Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a temporary contract on a project in Strabane.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the installation of lifts and travelators, coordinating site activities and ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day installation activities on site.
  • Supervise lift and travelator installation works and associated trades.
  • Coordinate specialist installation teams, subcontractors and site operatives.
  • Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and site compliance.
  • Monitor installation quality and ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Coordinate deliveries, lifting operations, materials and site logistics.
  • Liaise with the project management team, specialist contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and monitor progress.
  • Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.
  • Ensure the site remains organised, safe and compliant throughout the works.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Site Manager within a construction or engineering environment.
  • Previous experience supervising lift, escalator, travelator or other specialist installation works would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of construction health & safety requirements.
  • Experience coordinating specialist subcontractors and installation teams.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant Site Management qualifications/cards.
  • Ability to take ownership of site activities and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
