Our client, a leading construction contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex projects across highly regulated environments, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a specialist fit-out project. The Role You will be responsible for the successful delivery of a fast-paced fit-out scheme, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and health & safety are met. Working closely with the client, consultants, and supply chain partners, you will lead the project from mobilisation through to handover. Key Responsibilities * Full project management of a pharmaceutical fit-out project in County Durham. * Coordination of design, procurement, and delivery teams. * Management of programme, cost control, and risk mitigation. * Ensuring all works comply with GMP standards and client-specific requirements. * Leading progress meetings and reporting to senior stakeholders. * Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to health & safety regulations. Requirements * Proven experience as a Project Manager on fit-out projects (pharmaceutical or life sciences experience highly desirable). * Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and compliance requirements within controlled environments. * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Relevant qualifications in construction management or engineering (degree level or equivalent). * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred.
