CNX Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a temporary contract on a project in Kilkeel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of new signage and external decoration works, ensuring the project is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day site activities associated with signage and external decoration works.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and project requirements.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and site compliance.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure all works meet the required quality standards.
- Coordinate deliveries, materials and site access.
- Liaise with the project team, contractors and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate site records and provide progress updates.
- Ensure the site is kept organised, safe and compliant throughout the works.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Site Manager within a construction environment.
- Experience overseeing external works, signage, decoration or similar projects would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple activities.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Relevant Site Management qualifications/cards.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the site.
