Pay range: £23.00 – £24.00 per hour (CIS or PAYE available)
Responsibilities
- Install, adjust and maintain fire doors in occupied and unoccupied commercial and residential buildings.
- Carry out full door set installations and replacements.
- Upgrade existing doors to meet BM TRADA Q‑Mark standards.
- Ensure compliance with fire stopping, intumescent seals, smoke seals, ironmongery and gap tolerances.
- Complete accurate installation and maintenance records as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience fitting and maintaining fire doors.
- Valid BM TRADA Q‑Mark or equivalent fire door installer certification.
- Good understanding of current fire safety regulations and passive fire protection standards.
- Ability to identify and rectify non‑compliant doors and components.
- Own tools, PPE and reliable transport.
- Checkable references from recent fire‑door projects.
