This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing business where you'll play a pivotal role in the commercial success of prestigious residential developments.
Working closely with the Directors and Project Management team, you will take ownership of the commercial function across multiple live projects from inception through to final account.
The Role As the Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring projects remain commercially successful while maintaining the exceptional standards expected on high-value, bespoke residential developments.

Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial performance of multiple live construction projects.
- Prepare and manage project cost plans, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Negotiate and procure subcontract packages.
- Identify, price and agree project variations in a proactive manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs, labour expenditure and profitability.
- Identify commercial risks and provide practical solutions.
- Support the Directors with tender pricing and securing future projects.
- Utilise digital construction management systems to manage commercial reporting and project costs. About You The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration and variation management.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with clients and subcontractors.
* Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable
- Experience working on luxury or high-end residential construction projects.
- HNC, HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- RICS membership or working towards chartership. What's on Offer
