We’re currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Foreman on behalf of a well-established commercial groundworks and landscaping contractor delivering projects across the Central Belt, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for a working foreman, with the option to bring a full squad, to join a contractor with a strong and consistent pipeline of work.

The role:
This is a hands-on Foreman position, where you’ll be leading from the front while overseeing site operations. Responsibilities include:
- Supervising day-to-day groundworks activities on site
- Leading and motivating a team to deliver work to programme and specification
- Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
- Reading and working from drawings and plans
- Completing basic site paperwork and records
What we’re looking for:
- SSSTS certification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong background across all aspects of groundworks
- Confident reading and interpreting drawings
- Ability to lead a team while taking direction from site management
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
