CNX Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a leading facilities management and building services contractor. This is a static site-based role in Glasgow, offering an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering maintenance services within a commercial environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and associated building services. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the site while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, contractors, and on-site stakeholders. You will also act as the main point of contact for site cleaning and security teams and assist with the supervision and development of a site handyperson.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
- Respond to reactive maintenance tasks and emergency breakdowns.
- Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and within required timescales.
- Produce permits to work, risk assessments, and associated safety documentation.
- Identify faults and remedial works, liaising with the service desk as required.
- Utilise handheld technology to manage and record maintenance activities.
- Monitor and support visiting subcontractors.
