Are you a detail-driven Estimator with a passion for pricing high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects? Looking to join a growing contractor with a strong reputation in the market? We’re working on behalf of a dynamic main contractor that delivers bespoke interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across the commercial, retail, and high-end residential sectors. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of tenders, they are looking to appoint a Construction Estimator to join their commercial/pre-construction team. The Role: As Estimator, you’ll be responsible for managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission. You’ll liaise with clients, consultants, and the internal delivery team to ensure accurate pricing and commercially sound proposals. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out and refurbishment projects * Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications * Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate pricing and quotations * Attend site visits and client meetings to assess project scope * Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks * Work closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover Requirements: * Proven experience as a Construction Estimator within a main contracting or interior fit-out environment * Strong understanding of pricing, construction methods, and building regulations * Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail * Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Conquest, Excel, Causeway, etc.) * Background in commercial, retail, or high-end residential projects preferred * Relevant construction qualification (HNC/Degree) desirable The Company: Our client is a well-established and fast-growing contractor, with a strong presence in Scotland, they are known for their quality, reliability, and team-oriented approach.
